A rotary double sided one-axis positioner for robotic applications. Its configuration allows both welding and exchanging of welded parts simultaneously.
While the robot is welding on one side of the positioner, the operator is exchanging parts on the other side behind the apron. When the work is finished, the positioner rotates 180° on the swivel base and the cycle can be repeated. The use of precision cycloidal gearboxes for arm and table rotation allows fast and accurate positioning of the welded parts. The interface of the individual axis gearboxes is adapted to servomotors according to customer requirements.
